A study by the audit company Deloitte showed that more than a third of the largest technology companies in the world have successfully implemented a bolchain in their activities.

According to a global survey conducted from February to March 2020, 39% of 1,488 executives said they used blockchain in their companies, which is 16% more than last year. Deloitte also notes that for international giants with annual revenues of more than $ 100 million, the integration level is 41%.

Businesses choose distributed ledger technologies not only because of the advantages of their use, but also expecting that in three years digital acts will be important (89%) or huge (53%) for their industry. At the same time, 82% of companies said that in the next 12 months they will actively hire specialists who have experience with the blockchain.

Despite the high interest, the majority of respondents (54%) believe that around the DLT-based innovations they create a lot of noise and exaggerate the value of the technology itself. Over the past 2 years, the number of skeptics has increased by 15%.

Researchers also note the success of China in this direction. 59% of respondents from the Middle Kingdom reported using blockchain in their companies, and 94% believe that in the next decade, digital assets will replace paper money or become their alternative.

Despite partial skepticism, the technology is developing rapidly and is being implemented in various fields. A recent study by Premium Market Insights showed that by 2025 global investment in blockchain in the energy markets reached $ 34.7 billion.
